Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the VAClaims.io platform and all associated services operated by The Intent Network, LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). This AUP applies to all users, including veterans, Onboarding Advisors, administrators, and any other individuals who access the platform.
By using VAClaims.io, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in account suspension, termination, and/or legal action.
2. Permitted Use
VAClaims.io is provided for the following purposes:
- Managing and organizing evidence for VA disability claims.
- Accessing educational resources, courses, and strategic guidance related to the VA claims process.
- Communicating with Onboarding Advisors through the platform's in-app messaging system.
- Scheduling and participating in consultation calls through platform-integrated tools.
- Utilizing AI-assisted tools for claim strategy, personal statement drafting, and evidence analysis.
- For Advisors: onboarding veterans, managing referrals, and accessing advisor tools as described in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the platform to:
3.1 Fraud & Misrepresentation
- Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information about your military service, medical history, or identity.
- Impersonate another person, veteran, Advisor, or representative of VAClaims.io.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent platform restrictions, exploit referral programs, or manipulate commission structures.
- Use the platform to prepare or submit fraudulent claims to the VA or any government agency.
3.2 Data & Privacy Violations
- Access, collect, store, or share another user's personal information outside of the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent the platform's privacy protections, data masking, or Row Level Security controls.
- Screenshot, download, or export veteran data for use outside the platform (Advisors).
- Scrape, harvest, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
- Share your account credentials with any other person.
3.3 Harmful or Disruptive Behavior
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users, Advisors, or staff.
- Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Use the messaging system for spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitation unrelated to VA claims support.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform, servers, or networks connected to VAClaims.io.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from VAClaims.io proprietary materials, including reports, templates, strategies, course content, and AI-generated outputs.
- Share platform content, strategies, or proprietary methodologies with competing services.
- Use VAClaims.io materials for commercial purposes without written authorization.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or attribution from platform materials.
3.5 Platform Circumvention
- Attempt to bypass payment requirements, exploit free trial mechanisms, or manipulate pricing.
- Use the platform to solicit veterans or Advisors for competing services.
- Advisors: contact veterans through channels outside the platform or redirect veterans away from VAClaims.io.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
4. Additional Rules for Onboarding Advisors
In addition to the above, Onboarding Advisors must:
- Maintain a valid, active professional license at all times.
- Provide only claims navigation guidance — never legal advice, therapy, medical advice, or financial advice through the platform.
- Use only the platform's messaging and scheduling tools for veteran communications.
- Report any suspected fraud, safety concerns, or policy violations through the platform's reporting mechanisms.
- Comply with all terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to support@vaclaims.io. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be made anonymously. We will not retaliate against anyone who makes a good-faith report.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, which may include:
- Issuing a warning.
- Temporarily suspending account access while we investigate.
- Permanently terminating your account and access to the platform.
- Removing content that violates this AUP.
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.
- Pursuing legal remedies, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
For Onboarding Advisors, violations may also result in reporting to relevant professional licensing boards.
7. Modifications
We may update this AUP at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.
